    I love my life and everyday I thank God for the kind of life I have. I m thankful for the family and friends that surround me. I consider myself lucky to have them and I hope that in my own small way, I will be able to reciprocate that love. 
    Without wanting to dampen the mood, let me share with you a story. The son of a family friend committed suicide after an argument with his girlfriend. I’ve never really understood why a person will end his life prematurely.     But as the saying goes “never judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes”. I know you’ve said this yourself, pink princess. Why in heavens did I bring this up? All I wanted to say is that problems and struggles are a part of life. I love my life but that’s not to say, I have it easy. I’ve had my share of ups and downs. Some small, some quite upsetting.  
    I hope that people who encounter difficulties in life will find the strength to deal with them. I believe that for every problem, there is a solution. The answer to our problems may not always be what we want it to be but nonetheless, it addresses the problem. If people loved life enough, then suicide will never be an answer to a problem.

    I love my life….
    Today was just an ordinary day. Nothing major, a day off from work, no major events or get togethers. Just a day for myself. Went out for breakfast and sipped morning coffee while reading the paper, did a little shopping, took a long nap, watered the yard, took my 4 legged “guy” Russel for a long walk, then did something I haven’t done in a long while…. I watched the sunset over the city I call home.
    Yes, at times life is a challenge. But if you can get past the curves and bumps along this path and open your heart and soul, there is so, so much to love.
    I have so much to be thankful for… I have a great family, wonderful friends, and I have “rediscovered” the reason why I chose the profession I’m in.
    The sun sets everyday but sometimes when you think it’s just an “ordinary” day, it takes an everyday occurrence to remind you that life is GREAT.
